During my recent stay at Sorell Hotel in St Gallen, I was impressed by the efficiency of their lovely receptionists who had our room keys ready upon arrival. Opting for the online check-in beforehand definitely expedites the process, especially if you have multiple rooms. The modern and spacious rooms were equipped with Nespresso machines, offering a complimentary cup of coffee, and mini-bars stocked with snacks and drinks, providing convenience within reach. The central location, within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, and the train station, offered a practical advantage. The comfortable beds and art deco touches in the room added a touch of luxury to the stay. While the hotel offers certain amenities such as laundry and an electric kettle that cater to practical needs, the overall value proposition may warrant consideration for those seeking a balance between luxury and cost during their visit to St Gallen. It's worth noting the slight noise disturbance despite the presence of soundproofed rooms. My experience at Sorell Hotel was pleasant, and I look forward to revisiting in the future.
